Pisang Peak Climbing is one of the most adventurous trekking peaks in Annapurna region of Nepal; though little technical difficulty required to climb. Pisang Peak Climbing was first successfully attempted by a German expedition team in 1955. Pisang Peak rises above from Pisang village in a uniform slope of ice and snow to the final summit pyramid.
Pisang Peak Climbing will start from Besisahar and follow the same trail of Annapurna Circuit Trek before reaching Pisang. The route ascents through lush woods and pasture till leading up to Base Camp. The Pisang High Camp needs climbs to a shoulder on the south-west ridge which will clearly lead to the final snow slop up to the summit. The Pisang summit offers unbeaten panoramic view of Annapurna peaks such as Annapurna II (7.937 m), Annapurna III (7.555 m), and Annapurna IV (7.525 m), Gangapurna(7.455 m/ 24458 ft), Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri(8167 m/ 26794 ft), Tilicho Peak (7.134 m/ 23405 ft) and Manaslu(8.156 m/ 26758 ft). After summit, the route will head down to Manang valley before further up to Thorung Pedi and down to Jomson.

Day 1: Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 ft)

Upon arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu, we will welcome you and assist you to the Hotel.  We can meet later on that day or the next day to take you to our head office to brief you on your upcoming Trek with us. At that time we will introduce you to your trekking guide and Sherpa. If your flight arrives on time, we will take you to one of the most popular local restaurants with delicious Nepalese food, cultural music and ethnic dance. This will give you a glimpse into the different ethnic groups of the country. If you arrive late in the evening we can do this the next day. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)

After breakfast, you will begin a city tour of Kathmandu where you will see the main attractions of the valley. On this tour you will visit the Boudhnath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Swyambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square (the old palace). After finishing the city tour, we will meet again to check your clothing and trekking equipment (sleeping bag, down jacket and trekking boots). This evening will be spent in Kathmandu.

Day 3: Drive to Besisahar (760m/2,493ft) 7 hours

Our guide will meet you at the hotel as per departure time and takes you to the bus station where your journey starts towards west of Kathmandu through Prithivi highway till Dumre. After that the road turns towards north to Besisahar. This is an excellent drive which has interesting scenery of the Mountains, Rivers, waterfalls and Jungle as well as farm terraces and village on the mountains.  Stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Trek to Bahundanda (1,398m/45,86ft) 6 and half hours

Your first day of the trek begins after breakfast at the lodge which is an easy walk at the beginning through the dusty road towards north of the valley and ends at Bhulbhule before crossing the suspension bridge over Marsyangdi River. One the way you will enjoy the view of Mt. Manaslu and Nagdi Chuli including many waterfalls and Gurung village. After that the trail leads uphill to Bahundanda for overnight stay.

Day 5: Trek to Chamje (1,410m/4,625ft) 5-6 hours

After breakfast at the lodge, the trail drops steep down to the bottom of the hill and few up downs to Syange to cross suspension bridge. There is mind-blowing view of waterfall at Syange. Then the trail continue leads few uphill and few down hills to Chamje. Stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 6: Trek to Bagarchhap(2,080m/6,824ft) 6 and half hours

At the beginning of the day the trail drops down to the river to cross the bridge and continue climbs along the river bank to Tal Phedi. There is a short steep climb to get to the Tal and an easy walk through the valley. Tal is a first village of Manang District which is located on the bank of the Marsyangdi River has typical entrance gate which is influences by Tibetan culture. Then the trail continues up and down to Dharapani village and continues up to Bagarchhap for overnight.

Day 7: Trek to Chame (2,720m/8,923ft) 5 hours

After hot breakfast at the lodge the trail slightly climbs up to Danaque from where you will enjoy the view of Mt.Manaslu. There are two ways to get in to the next village but we will take you through the higher route which has an excellent view of mountains and passing through the old village of Tyanja. Then easy walk through the pine forest to Chame which is district headquarter of Manang. Stay overnight at the lodge. (There is small hot spring on the bank of river where you can get in to it for relaxation)

Day 8: Trek to Pisang (3,060m/10,039ft) 5 hours

The trail leads uphill to the narrow valley to cross a metal bridge over the River and climb up to Dhukure Pokhari. This is wide valley from where you will see the valley where you will have to walk further to get on the top of the high pass of Thorang La. After easy walk you will get in t Pisang for overnight. Once you get in to the lodge, we suggest you to walk to the pretty village at upper Pisang which helps to get acclimatize. Stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 09: Trek to Pisang Peak Base Camp-(3-4hours) 4,380m/14,370ft

Today we start walking up towards Base camp after a day relax in Upper Pisang. From Upper Pisang village, the path ascends through sparse wood and pasture to a Kharka at (4,380m) which is considered the best place for setting up the base camp. It is in a flat alpine section along the well worn trail. Over night stay at tent.

Day 10: Trek to Pisang Peak High Camp-(3-4hours) 5,400m/17,712ft

Today we walked for 4 -5 hours and set up our high camp at the height of 5400m after climbing to a shoulder on the south west ridge. There will be snow at the high camp from the end of November to the end of March. Over night at Tent.

Day 11: Summit to the Peak and back to Base Camp-(7-9hours) 6,091m/19,980ft

Today is a day to fulfill your dream of Summit on Pisang Peak. From the High Camp,the well defined ridge leads to the final snow slop which is quite steep and more technical to reach the summit. Our guide will fixed the rope and lead you to the successful summit of the Pisang peak. After a Successful summit, you will walk down to Base Camp and stay over night at tent.

Day 12: Pisang Peak Base Camp to Manang (5-6hours)3,450m/11,316ft

Today you will trek to Pisang village and continue trek to Manang village walking across the riverside. Here, you will notice a contrast with the landscape and vegetation. The cold, dry climate creates a much harsher environment. Incredible views of the towering Himalayan Peaks. Manang is a great Mt. Valley which has a rich customs & tradition and gives you an opportunity to observe a traditional lifestyle of Manangi People (one of the Ethnic Group people of Nepal). Over night stay at lodge.

Day 13: Trek to Lader (4,230m/13,877ft) 5 and half hours

At the beginning the trail climbs up to the ridge of upper Manang and turns around to climb up to Lader. Today, you will enjoy the panoramic views of Annapurnas, Gangapurna and many more peaks en route. This is an easy day compare other trekking days due to the altitude which is very essential to climb short distance. Stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 14: Trek to Thorang Phedi (4,450m/14,599ft) 4 hours

After easy walk at the beginning the trail drops down to the river to cross wooden bridge and climbs up to the tea shop. After having a short ret at the tea shop the trail continue leads to the Phedi through the cliff. Once you are at Phedi, if you feel great you can continue to the high camp to make easy day next day or you can decide once you are there with the help of our trek leader.

Day 15: Trek to Muktinath via Thorang La (3,760m/12,335ft) 8 hours

Today is the biggest day of the entire trip to cross Thorang la pass which starts early morning before sunrise. If you stop at Phedi you start an hour earlier so that you can to the top of the pass before 10 am which is the perfect time before wind blows violently. After short photo break on the top, you drop long way down to Muktinath.

Day 16: Trek to Jomsom (3,500m/11,482ft) 6 hours

The trail descent to the Kaligandaki valley and leads through the bank of the holy river where you may find Fossils called Shaligram a part of Lord Bishnu. Once you cross the bridge after Ekle Bhatti, the walking through the other side of the river has perfect views of the mountain and barren valley. Finally reach Jomsom (windy valley) and overnight at the lodge.

Day 17: Fly to Pokhara and continue to Kathmandu

This morning wake up early and our guide would do airport departure formalities when you remain at the lodge waiting for the flight. Once the flight takes off from Pokhara my guide would call you at the airport and wait for the flight. It is scenic flight over deepest George in the world and between high Himalayas of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. You continue fly to Kathmandu from Pokhara. (If you would like to spend your time in Pokhara we would help to for further arrangements of accommodation. Or you can have your own time in Pokhara). Once you arrive in Kathmandu my guide will take you to the hotel and evening we meet up for the final official dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 18: Departure day

Today is the last day of the trip with us. If you would like to extend your holiday with us, we will help you if you require otherwise we will assist you to the airport as per your flight departure time. If your flight is late evening, you can do last minute shopping or manage your photos of the trip then we drop you off at the airport for final departure.
