Mera Peak Itinerary Detail

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Your flight will be landed at the international airport of Nepal. A representative of Anu Treks will be there to welcome you with the warm greetings and then we will be guided towards the hotel room of Kathmandu. The night will be at Kathmandu discussing the trekking along with the crew members.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Paiya From the hotel, we will move towards the airport to catch the flight over to Lukla. The scenic flight will last for about 45 minutes which will guide us to the beautiful region of Lukla. From Lukla, we will begin our trek following the way towards the Lukla through the main trail the trekking goes for about 3 to 4 hours. The night will be at Paiya at the altitude of 2730m.

Day 03: Paiya to Pangkoma After having breakfast, we will move towards the Pangkoma following the wooden way to Kari La pass. Further following the trail through the forest of rhododendron and bamboo, we will reach the trading village of Pangkoma to stay for the night situating at the altitude of 2850m. The trekking goes for about 5 to 6 hours.

Day 04: Pangkoma to Shibuche From Pangkoma, we will descend through the rocky trail through the rhododendron forest. We will continue the trail and will be served by lunch somewhere at the way. The marvellous view of the Mera peak along with its neighbour peak will surely mesmerize us. We will walk through the beautiful forest to reach Shibuche after walking for about 4 to 5 hours.

Day 05: Shibuche to Chetrakhola From Shibuche, we will walk through the rough way through the forest of bamboo and rhododendron. We will follow the main trail which goes through the forest and rocky path until we reach the Chetrakhola. The night will be fascinated at Chetrakhola at the altitude of 3150m after walking for about 7 to 8 hours.

Day 06: Chetrakhola to Kothe From Chetrakhola, we will walk towards the Hinku valley to view the splendid view of the surrounding. The trail will offer us a beautiful view of Mera peak and Hinku valley. We will reach Tashing Dingma where we may find some shops to have our lunch. Then we will continue to walk towards the Kothe to have the rest of the night at the altitude of 3600m above sea level after the walk of 6 to 7 hours.

Day 07: Kothe to Tangnang From Kothe, the hiking goes for only 3 to 4 hours to Tangnang. The marvellous view of the Mera peak will make our journey even shorter. After visiting the beautiful Gompas and monasteries of the way, we will march ourselves to the Tangnang to stay the night at tented camp.

Day 08: Tangnang to Khare From Tangnang, we will head towards the Mera peak base camp at Khare. The trekking route is short which goes for about 2 to 3 hours. We can also get the view of Charpate Himal from the point. We will set up our camp at Khare which will cherish us during the whole trek. The night will be at Khare at the altitude of 5045m above sea level after walking for about 2 to 3 hours.

Day 09: Khare to Mera base camp From the Khare, we will move towards the Mera base camp. We need to walk through the rocky surface for about 3 to 4 hours to reach the base camp of the peak. While hiking in this region, we should acclimatize ourselves. The night will be fascinated at the Mera peak base camp at the altitude of 5300m above sea level.

Day 10: Base camp to High camp From the base camp, we will walk through the main trail to high camp. The trail is icy and of course a little bit tough. The trail will go for about 4 to 54 hours to reach our destination. The night will be at tented camp at high camp.

Day 11: High camp to Summit and back to Khare From the high camp of the Mera peak, we will begin our journey early in the morning. We will hike straightly through the main trail to the summit viewing the scenic beauty of the region. The summit view will be surely mesmerizing. We will return through the same way back to the base camp and then to Khare walking for about 8 to 9 hours for the day.

Day 12: Khare to Kothe From Khare, we will return back to Kothe following the same trail after achieving our dream. We will leave the mesmerizing view of the Mera peak at its own land and will carry the memories and beauty with us. We will walk for about 4 to 5 hours to be back to Kothe for the resting night.

Day 13: Kothe to Thuli Kharka From the Kothe, we will climb for several hours through the lush forest of the Hinku valley and then to Thuli Kharka. The walk will be nice through the beautiful forest of rhododendron with the hiding looks of high Himalayas. The night will be at Thuli Kharka after the trekking of 5 to 6 hours.

Day 14: Thuli Kharka to Lukla From Thuli Kharka, we will have the trekking of about 6 to 7 hours to reach Lukla. We will first walk towards the Zatrwa la pass and we will cross the pass viewing the beautiful scenery of the surrounding. We will continue to walk for about 6 to 7 hours until we reach Lukla for the rest of the night.

Day 15: Lukla to Kathmandu From Lukla, we will take the flight over to Kathmandu. The flight goes for about 45 minutes offering us the spectacular view of the surrounding as well as the marvellous view of snow-capped mountains from the flight. We will land at the airport and will move towards the hotel. We will have our lunch and rest for a while. Then we can use or leisure time to visit the beautiful valley of Kathmandu.

Day 16: Farwell After completing our exhilarating trekking, we will do some shopping at the local market of Kathmandu. Then, we will arrange our Packages and will move towards the airport to catch the splendid flight over to our own destination. We will surely enjoy the farewell party organized by Anu Treks Nepal. Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu Your flight will be landed at the international airport of Nepal. A representative of Anu Treks will be there to welcome you with the warm greetings and then we will be guided towards the hotel room of Kathmandu. The night will be at Kathmandu discussing the trekking along with the crew members.

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla and trek to Paiya From the hotel, we will move towards the airport to catch the flight over to Lukla. The scenic flight will last for about 45 minutes which will guide us to the beautiful region of Lukla. From Lukla, we will begin our trek following the way towards the Lukla through the main trail the trekking goes for about 3 to 4 hours. The night will be at Paiya at the altitude of 2730m.

Day 03: Paiya to Pangkoma After having breakfast, we will move towards the Pangkoma following the wooden way to Kari La pass. Day 06: Chetrakhola to Kothe From Chetrakhola, we will walk towards the Hinku valley to view the splendid view of the surrounding. The trail will offer us a beautiful view of Mera peak and Hinku valley. We will reach Tashing Dingma where we may find some shops to have our lunch. Then we will continue to walk towards the Kothe to have the rest of the night at the altitude of 3600m above sea level after the walk of 6 to 7 hours.

Day 07: Kothe to Tangnang From Kothe, the hiking goes for only 3 to 4 hours to Tangnang. The marvellous view of the Mera peak will make our journey even shorter. After visiting the beautiful Gompas and monasteries of the way, we will march ourselves to the Tangnang to stay the night at tented camp.

Day 08: Tangnang to Khare From Tangnang, we will head towards the Mera peak base camp at Khare. The trekking route is short which goes for about 2 to 3 hours. We can also get the view of Charpate Himal from the point. We will set up our camp at Khare which will cherish us during the whole trek. The night will be at Khare at the altitude of 5045m above sea level after walking for about 2 to 3 hours.

We will return through the same way back to the base camp and then to Khare walking for about 8 to 9 hours for the day.

Day 12: Khare to Kothe From Khare, we will return back to Kothe following the same trail after achieving our dream. We will leave the mesmerizing view of the Mera peak at its own land and will carry the memories and beauty with us. We will walk for about 4 to 5 hours to be back to Kothe for the resting night.

Day 13: Kothe to Thuli Kharka From the Kothe, we will climb for several hours through the lush forest of the Hinku valley and then to Thuli Kharka. The walk will be nice through the beautiful forest of rhododendron with the hiding looks of high Himalayas. The night will be at Thuli Kharka after the trekking of 5 to 6 hours.

Day 14: Thuli Kharka to Lukla From Thuli Kharka, we will have the trekking of about 6 to 7 hours to reach Lukla. We will first walk towards the Zatrwa la pass and we will cross the pass viewing the beautiful scenery of the surrounding. We will continue to walk for about 6 to 7 hours until we reach Lukla for the rest of the night.

Day 15: Lukla to Kathmandu From Lukla, we will take the flight over to Kathmandu. The flight goes for about 45 minutes offering us the spectacular view of the surrounding as well as the marvellous view of snow-capped mountains from the flight. We will land at the airport and will move towards the hotel. We will have our lunch and rest for a while. Then we can use or leisure time to visit the beautiful valley of Kathmandu.

Day 16: Farwell After completing our exhilarating trekking, we will do some shopping at the local market of Kathmandu. Then, we will arrange our Packages and will move towards the airport to catch the splendid flight over to our own destination. We will surely enjoy the farewell party organized by Anu Treks Nepal.
